Laura A. Shanahan is the Chief Operations Officer of Endurance Worldwide Reinsurance and the President of Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America, overseeing strategy, planning and underwriting operations for Endurance's global reinsurance business. Ms. Shanahan also maintains responsibility for the Latin American operation, the U.S. direct reinsurance business and the global agriculture reinsurance line of business. Ms. Shanahan has more than 25 years of industry experience, and has held leadership positions in both primary and reinsurance segments. With an extensive background in the surety line of business, she joined Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America in 2004 as part of the XL Re Surety renewal rights transaction. |
