Our Commitment to Bermuda
Since inception, Endurance has been an active sponsor of many local Bermuda organizations that are critical to maintaining the island's environment, culture and youth development programs. These include the Bermuda National Trust, focused on preserving natural, architectural and historic treasures on the island; the Bermuda Dance Theater and the Bermuda National Gallery, which houses the nation's national art collection. Endurance recently signed a multi-year commitment to the ABC Football School and Valencia Club, one of the largest football franchises in Europe, which will educate local coaches and provide exposure for talented Bermuda athletes to high quality training and recruiting opportunities.
Business Bermuda
Endurance's CEO, David Cash, is the current Chairman of Business Bermuda, an organization which promotes Bermuda's business offerings both on the island and around the world, working to attract growth in foreign currency earnings and employment opportunities to Bermuda. Mr. Cash brings to the role his perspective as a native Bermudian as well as a leader of a major participant in Bermuda's leading economic sector, the global insurance and reinsurance industry. Endurance has been a proud member of Business Bermuda since January 2004. |
Bermuda Zoological Society
Endurance was the lead contributor to the Bermuda Zoological Society's educational and conservation outreach vessel, the 45 foot Endurance, which was launched in 2008. Serving as both a floating classroom and research vessel, the Endurance provides practical marine field research programs to local high school students and connects the local community to Bermuda's natural environment.

Our Industry Support
Endurance is an active participant in the many professional organizations that provide training, networking and certification in the insurance industry. Our executives have volunteered their time and expertise in leadership roles in a number of associations including the Reinsurance Association of America, the Bermuda Chapter of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, the International Association of Claim Professionals, the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers, the Association of Professional Insurance Women and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
Bermuda Insurance Institute
Endurance is a Patron Member Company of the Bermuda Insurance Institute, an organization dedicated to providing educational and networking opportunities to those working in the insurance industry as well as those seeking training to pursue a career in the industry. Endurance has been a member of the Bermuda Insurance Institute since Endurance's inception in 2001. Endurance employees are active participants in the organization, including serving as instructors for professional insurance education courses offered by the Bermuda Insurance Institute. |
Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation
Endurance is a proud supporter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation which provides grants, volunteer service and leadership through collaborative efforts of insurance and reinsurance companies, brokers and related industry partners and their employees. James D'Onofrio, Executive Vice President and Head of Endurance U.S. Reinsurance, sits on the Board of Directors of the New York/Tri-State Region of Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation as well as the Relationship Management Committee, where he serves as liaison with two of the local charities that Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation supports.
